Please get in contact with the Erasmus+ Coordinator of the related department/unit at Ege University. Here is the list of the Coordinators :

You should have a workplan showing your training or teaching mobility at Ege University. Then you should send your Work Plan (Staff Mobility for Teaching or Training Agreement) by e-mail to the related Erasmus Coordinator for confirmation.

After the departmental authorities at universities confirm your visit, Responsible Erasmus Coordinator will send you an invitation letter to your e-mail adress.


By Taxi: Arriving in Bornova by taking a taxi from the airport will cost around 80-90 TL (approx. 30 €).
By Bus: Alternatively, you can buy “KENTKART” and fill some credit in it so you can take the bus number 204, which costs 4TL (approx. 1,5 €) if you use kentkart, and you can see the Schedule as a scheme. The final destination of the bus number 204  is Bornova Metro Station, from where you can take the metro or bus number 525 to the Ege University Campus or to the Student Village.
By Rail: You can take IZBAN (İzmir Banliyö Treni / İzmir Suburb Train) from Adnan Menderes Airport to Aliağa Direction, then you get off in Halkapinar station where you transfer to İzmir Metro, please take the line Evka-3 that will take you to Ege University Campus or Bornova. 
From Bornova Metro Station, it is quite easy to walk to International Office in Ege University Rectorate. It takes around 15 minutes on foot.

By Air: Both domestic and international flights are periodically available from Adnan Menderes Airport every day which is 16km south of the city centre. There are also regular flights from many European cities. Airport buses and metro go to and from the city centre.

• When you finish your mobility at Ege University, a Certificate of Attandance will be given to you showing that you have been at Ege University within the framework of Erasmus+ Programme.
